Fed Cup Team Nominations
ASIA/OCEANIA GROUP II
Philippines enjoyed its best Fed Cup performance in 1982 by reaching the last 16.
Chinese Taipei's best performance in Fed Cup came in 2016, when it reached World Group II for the first time. They also reached the last 16 in 1981, when the competition was played as a week-long event. Chinese Taipei first played Fed Cup in 1972.
Tajikistan last competed in Fed Cup in 2000. Its' best performance is finishing third in Asia/Oceania Zone Group II on three occasions. Prior to 1993, players from Tajikistan represented USSR.
Singapore won its first Asia/Oceania Zone Group I tie in 2007, defeating Jordan in the ninth place play-off. They had previously failed to win a match in their four prior Group I campaigns.
Sri Lanka made their Fed Cup debut in 1990 and have appeared on-and-off ever since. They returned to the competition in 2012 after not playing since 2008.
Iran's best result is winning one tie in Asia/Oceania Zone Group II in both 2014 and 2015. They had lost all ties on their previous appearances in 1972, 2009, 2012 and 2013.
